One of our member friends who doesn't want t be named -  "XXXXXXXXX" - raises a valid query in my inbox about a fortnight ago... I have responded that I will come back on it soon... But due to the time constraints, I have been unable to come back till this day...

Mr. XXXXXXXXX asks me: -

"I am not able to express in words rightly..

One thing I wish to share with you is this... Often I deeply feel the WHOLE as revolving or passing in circle shape where I am a part of it yet totally detached and being watchful to it...

And it feels like seeing beyond of past and present and future, that the WHOLE is a great  flowing of ocean...

It is like seeing the whole movement and flowing of ocean being in the ocean and flowing along with it. It's like while you are in the water, if you keep your head outside and see whole the flow of water. I don't know what it is.

And it feels like there is no separation. It is all me, part of me, whole of me... And it feels like whatsoever has happened and happening and happens to anyone in anything in anyway since down the ages, is really happening to myself, the happening of myself... I am totally one with it. I am it.

Yet I am totally aware of it and I am the witnessing of it being totally detached with it. I don't know what this is. It's not a thinking or imagining or feeling either.. Whenever I happen to feel this.. It comes by itself all of sudden as a great sensation within me. And seeing all this, I remain totally silent.

I share my views on it and welcome the views or outlook or opinion of other friends which will add value to the poser...

Mr. XXXXXXXXX,

As far as I know and understand, there are five possibilities to the sensation or experience you are going through and I am NOT sure or competent enough to conclude about you since we have never met... Hence, I am just sharing my own outlook on it, as if, it is a stranger who has raised this query... Please take me with an open mind: -

1. When one is really a "WITNESSING" rather than being a "Witness", the real meditation happens... No nouns are there but only the verbs... No experience is there but only the experiencing... When one is absolutely vulnerable, relaxed with no thoughts in the mind & when one is in a GAP, the "Spirit" leaves the body but yet you are connected and distance loses its grip on you... This is what mystics label it as "Astral Travelling"... It happens many a time if you are vulnerable, receptive, relaxed and mind is just at standby...

I am saying it because I have experienced it many a time in my life... But this experience which we try to express, is an aftereffect but NOT the actual experiencing...

As long as you are experiencing it, it seems that it is more than real... You can just go through any solid matter, you can just go flying high like a bird, you can just SEE through any object, you can even go inside an Airplane that is flying high in the skies and even see the people who are travelling inside it...!!!
The freedom and joy you experience through it, is just inexpressible... Simply, YOU are a bird on the wing and have gone beyond all the limitations...!!!

Once the real experiencing comes to an end, you will find yourself in normal senses and you will not be able to figure out whether this a dream experience or a real experience... Even if you want to conclude it as a dream, your whole being shouts from the peaks of Himalayas that it is a real experience... And I say that it is a real experience since I have gone through it many a time...

But one shouldn't develop any desire for this inexpressible experience... Because the very desire to have it once more, will make us entangled in another chain of thoughts... If one doesn't desire for it, it may happen again and again and again... It can happen tomorrow or it can happen after 10 years or it may not happen at all...!!!

2. The second possibility is that the Micro and Macro Cosmos once in a while merge together... There are two extremes to it because any two extremes look alike... One can be a very "Sane Person" or one can be an "Insane Person"... In both the cases, what you are saying, is the same...!!!
The only difference is that a sane man is aware and an insane man is just unaware & gets carried away by the push and pull factors of the existence... In fact, an insane man goes through this experiencing 24 x 7 where as a sane man goes through it when She / He is absolutely vulnerable, relaxed and becomes a child in the womb of existence at least for a while...

3. The third possibility is that the psychotropic substances like LSD or Cocaine or Heroin or Mandrax and so on, give you the same experience temporarily which in fact, makes an indelible imprint on your mind / central nervous system - CNS -  and you unknowingly desire so passionately to have the same experience 24 x 7...
This is the root cause of "Drug Addiction" since you desire to fly high forever which is just impossible since it is NOT in the nature of things to be so...

4. The fourth possibility is that the influence and teachings of the so called Masters (whom we keep on changing), too create a layer upon layer on our minds... One doesn't trust a single master to the core of his being...!!! Simply, he goes and meets a Master to test him whether he suits him or not...!!! You wanna test an enlightened master!!! So, in what capacity he is when compared to you???

In such a hapless journey, you will come across a fake saint who just gives a routine description of what you want / desire... You think and feel that this Master is made for you or that he is indirectly asking you to be his follower because he has seen your ins & outs... Then, in no time, you are hooked on, to him forever...!!! This is another type of conditioning which I have seen in many people who just blindly believe that what R** S***  or Satya Saibaba says, is happening to me or it has to happen to me... In fact, they go mad to such an extent that they make sure that it is happening to them - Self Hypnotism...!!!

A few tricks or a bit of magic and then a touch by these fake saints, can make you delirious because you are already programmed for it, to revel in their world... But it is sheer hypnotism or mass hypnotism through which you are programmed... It is more seen in Christianity followed by Islam followed by Hinduism...!!!

Of course, out of one thousand people, only a handful of ten, may be hypnotized perfectly... But this is a good number and you are one of the 10 victims and you will just sing and praise his bhajans for a lifetime... And you will go through the experience once the fake master or mass Hypnotist is before you...

5. The fifth possibility is that YOU are enlightened... You have  transcended all the dualities... You are right there in the womb of existence and you are just enjoying every moment like an eight month old child who tries to walk in a delirium... He walks as if, he is drunken, as if his feet are in the air, he sees things as if the whole world is so beautiful and colorful, he enjoys with his whole being as if he is a bird on the wing and flying high...!!!

But both the "CHILD" and an "Enlightened Master" deserve utmost care...!!! This is the only criterion to judge both of them...
